Dear Fermi is here

Dear Fermi is now live.

It began with a question from science:

Where is everybody?

The universe is vast.

The stars are countless.

The silence is immense.

But somewhere along the way, the question turned inward.

What if “everybody” is not only somewhere else?

What if everybody is already here?

What if each person we meet is not merely a person passing through the world, but a universe we have learned to walk past?

A universe of memory.

Longing.

Grief.

Language.

Culture.

Silence.

Imagination.

Love.

Fear.

Dear Fermi is a quiet philosophical book about loneliness, consciousness, human connection, and the mystery of other people.

It does not try to solve Fermi’s paradox.

It lets the question breathe.

And then it asks whether first contact may not only be something that happens between civilizations across galaxies, but something that happens every day —

across a table,

inside a silence,

through a misunderstanding,

in a song,

a meal,

a glance,

or a moment of genuine attention.

Maybe we were never alone.

Maybe we were surrounded.

Maybe we simply learned to look past one another.

Dear Fermi: Universes We Walk Past Every Day is now available on Amazon in paperback, hardcover, and Kindle.

With gratitude,

Prashanth
